September 2018: The Summer 2018 Edition of the Secure Coding newsletter was published on 4 September 2018. August 2018: SCALe has been released open-source as a new project on GitHub. This is the first time that SCALe has been released to the public. This initial release is SCALe 2.1.4.0. December 2017: The Fall 2017 Edition of the Secure Coding newsletter was published on 20 December 2017. November 2017: Lori Flynn and Will Klieber April 2018: Lori Flynn authored a blog post on Automated Detection of Information Leaks in Mobile Devices. April 2017: David Svoboda writes in the SEI Blog about the CERT C++ Secure Coding Guidelines. March 2017: The SEI CERT C++ Coding Standard (2016 Edition) is released. September 2016: Aaron Ballman writes in the SEI Blog about newly developed rules for Secure Coding in C++11 and C++14 . August 2016: The Secure Coding in Java certificate program becomes available.
